Halloweenie Roast 2007@ BFE Farm Gobles

Hello to you all, too.
Here are a few photos from the Halloweenie Roast at the farm on Saturday night Good food, good friends and family. Hope you can come someday. The weather was cloudy rainey, windy and cold until everyone started coming and then cleared out beautifully, still cold, tho.
However, during the bonfire, the moon rose throught the trees. Perfect. We sang old Kingston Trio songs which everyone knew (dates us, doesn't it). Grand time.

Halloween and Fall Gardening

Hello All...

Charles and I went to Winston-Salem this past Saturday for a costume Halloween party. Friends of ours throw this party every year. This year we really stepped up our game and had fun with our costumes. Charles dressed up as Carl the Greens keeper from Caddyshack and I was the gopher! We even won 2nd place in the costume contest. Check it out!

Megan and Trent were the hosts and dressed up as characters from Teen Wolf, the movie. Everyone who attends has to dress in costume. Creativity is always rewarded and handmade costumes are always the hit. 1st place was the main character in Psycho. She wore a shower curtain with shower rings attached. She also had wet hair, fake wounds and a fake knife glued to the curtain.

I am hoping that fall gardening might give me a second chance at developing my green thumb. I enjoyed planting a few pots with panises, kale and mums for the fall. What do you think?

Fall Fotos

Just a few fall fotos of our spectacular

seasonal colors. I shot these on the way home from South Haven.

It had been cloudy and around 6pm,
the sun came out just enough to light
the tops of the trees. It was magical!

Lily’s Photoshoot

Today, Lily came to Daddy’s work. Lily answered the (casting) call and was asked to do a fingerpainting photoshoot. Her hands will appear in a coupon for Procter and Gamble. TJ worked his magic on her, I won’t be doing the retouching, though.

Meet me in St Louis, Louie

Just a few snaps of those Krazy Koestners in St Louis over the weekend. The house is Joe's friend Elizabeth Wallace's home and that's where the girls stayed this past weekend

Better late than never

A few picture of the improvement at the Blackledge homestead.

Sorry, no pictures from Vegas, that I can post actually, HAHA.
As you can see we added a deck, larger than the old and with a step up. We reframed the hot tub. The shed turned into a small barn.
We had a great time in Vegas, I even drunk dialed Dad, which day, I'm not sure. We didn't see anyone famous. We saw 2 shows: Comedy and a impression show. We won $ but didn't bring it home. It was our 5th wedding anniversary, Brian gave me a new diamond wedding band, very nice. Luff to you all,
Lisa
