Durham, NC got a snow fix! Or I should say, Charles and I finally got our snow fix! All in all, the triangle area got blanketed with anywhere from 2-5 inches of snow that is still sticking around due to freezing temps! I had the luxury of working from home yesterday, so no driving for me. Charles drove into work to see 7 accidents on his normal 20 minute drive to the office. Luckily, his office shut down at 3pm. Over my "lunch break" our neighbor friends got our doggies together to play in the snow and watch all the inauguration coverage. Check out the video clip and pictures.
Catch what’s going on with the children of John and Priscilla Cronley (Priscilla, Queen of the House, and PapaJohn, King of California, post as well.)

Weekend Moviemaking
Raymond had Steven over for a sleepover on Friday. He showed him his "Spy Search" DVD that we filmed 2 years ago. Steven had the big "Joseph" role in the Christmas play, and immediately wanted to film the sequel. I agreed and spend all day Saturday filming and editing their movie. It often spoofs the first movie so I uploaded both to Youtube. Watch the original first.
Here is the sequel done on Saturday:

OMG Baskets !!!

Does anyone need this many baskets. Well, in my former life, I guess I thought I did. As part of my "New Year Resolution" I have gone about the business of purging and organizing. I counted 67 and that doesn't include the ones I do use throughout the house. Oh, I'm not selling the cat!! I will be cataloging them and I already posted (prematurely) them on out local "Craig's List". I got a call frm a resale shop wanting to buy them all. Price $$$???? Oh my.
I have completed redos on the phone cabinet and the linen closet :) It sure makes ME feel good. Thanks to MOM who got me started. I have a 6 month LIST. My deadline is June soo if you come for the Cronley wedding and are able to make the Sunday brunch at my house, you can check it out. Back to work Monday 1/12. All is well. Luff ewe, Lisa

More Cronley Christmas
I can't beleaf that no one has posted Christmas pictures or reports so here goes.
Tom and I, along with CC and Charles, arrived at Charlies on Tuesday night after both of us braved very icy roads.
Christmas Eve day was spent making cookies, eating cookies and playing cards Old Maid and guess who was the old maid every time! The guys had to go out to wash cars and get beer.
Dinner was homemade chicken cordon bleu. All of us dressed for 10:00 Mass. The girls went early and got a super front pew. The guys and kids came during the choral pre-Mass concert (very good). When we got back, Lisa and her guys and Jay and Kelly were there and very tired.
Waiting on the steps very patiently until 8:00, we went down to the tree. Lily and Ray were the Santas distributing and opening presents. Ray's fav was Guitar Hero which ended up everybody's favorite. Our family present letter this year was "W". We got wreaths, whoopee cushions, werther's candy, windmill, whiskey, charlies' bag o dubyahs. Help me out here, fam.
We did our annual everyone sitting in the wrapping paper picture.
Maria, always the perfect hostess had a delicious prime rib roast for dinner and Wine. After dinner we went downtown Cincy to see Charlie's new office space in a renovated neighborhood firehouse, very cool 3 story place. He arranged for his photographer friend to take our family picture, so proud of it.
The next day was spent eating Christmas cookies, visiting with Dick, Jill, Brian and Jeff Cronley, playing Michigan Rummy and Guitar Hero and shopping/looking @ Christmas bargains. After a dinner of homemade lasagna (Kudoes to Maria again), some of us drove to the IKEA store for more shopping. More cards and wine drinking went on until some of us went to bed.
Tom and Priscilla left at 8am, CC and Charles left at noon with Lisa and family right behind them. Kelly and Jay stayed until Sunday morning. We are so blessed to be able to all get together with family every other year.
