Well, I am continuing my new healthy relationship with my house and all that I own and aspire to complete. This past weekend, Brian and I redid that old chest that been in our family since the Gull Lake house. Mom and I have both moved it several times. It lived in basement and garages for many years. It received a new padded fabric top and new knobs. I also "finally" got the bathroom door fixed. it now closes with ease. I hosted my first dinner party of the year. Mexican nite while watching the Daytona 500. Neighbors George and Claudie and Friends Jim and Cheryl enjoyed Mexican lasagna, mini pizza with corn salsa, margaritas and coronas. We played a spirited game (still reading the directions) of Mexican train dominoes.
Brian will be returning to MO Tuesday and I will be painting the bathroom door and updating my TO DO list. Valentines day was nice we grilled t-bone steaks and watched movies. Good time was had by all.
